Frog Rapids Camp is situated on the English River system with easy access to excellent walleye, northern pike, lake trout, smallmouth bass and muskellunge fishing.
From our docks you can navigate in many different directions: east through the Sturgeon River and Botsford Lake; south through the Abram Chutes into Minnitaki Lake; Going north, you will find Pelican Lake, and the town of Sioux Lookout along its shores. Lac Seul is easily accessible by two well maintained boat launches, one to the north and the other to the east. With over 403,000 acres in all, plus hundreds of smaller lakes, there is no limit to the fishing potential. It is a vast area filled with wildlife and beautiful scenery. In addition to the excellent fishing our area is filled with beautiful sand beaches for the family to enjoy.
As a guest at Frog Rapids Camp you’ll have the opportunity to fish on beautiful Lac Seul – world renowned for its trophy fishing and arguably the best walleye lake in North America! Many trophy Muskies have been caught and released on this vast stretch of water. Lac Seul is accessible by two well maintained boat launches; Deception landing, 12 miles north of Frog Rapids Camp and Boat Bay in Hudson, which is about the same distance to the east.
